terms of service

1. acceptance of terms

by accessing or using reap ("the service"), you agree to be bound by these terms of service ("terms"). if you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

2. description of service

reap is a credit card benefits tracking application that helps users monitor their credit card benefits usage, calculate roi, and determine whether annual fees are worthwhile. the service allows users to:

• track credit card benefits and usage
• record transactions related to benefits
• view analytics and roi calculations
• manage multiple credit cards (subject to plan limits)

3. account registration

to use the service, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. you are responsible for:

• maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• all activities that occur under your account
• notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
• providing accurate, current, and complete information

you must be at least 18 years old to use the service.

4. subscription plans and billing

4.1 free plan

the free plan allows you to track up to 3 credit cards with full access to analytics and tracking features.

4.2 premium plans

premium plans provide unlimited card tracking (up to 50 cards) and priority support:

• monthly plan: $4.00 per month, billed monthly
• yearly plan: $40.00 per year ($3.33/month), billed annually

4.3 billing and payments

all payments are processed securely through stripe. by subscribing to a premium plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.

4.4 cancellation and refunds

you may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. upon cancellation:

• you will retain premium access until the end of your current billing period
• no refunds will be issued for partial billing periods
• your account will revert to the free plan after the billing period ends
• if you exceed the free plan limit, you will need to delete cards or upgrade again

4.5 price changes

we reserve the right to modify subscription prices with at least 30 days advance notice. price changes will not affect your current billing period.

5. acceptable use

you agree not to:

• use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or related systems
• interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• use automated means to access the service without permission
• reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
• share your account credentials with others
• upload or transmit malicious code or harmful content

6. data and privacy

your use of the service is also governed by our privacy policy. you retain ownership of all data you input into the service. we do not sell or share your personal data with third parties except as described in our privacy policy.

7. intellectual property

the service, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by reap and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express permission.

8. disclaimers and limitations of liability

the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. we do not guarantee that:

• the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• the results or calculations will be accurate or reliable
• any defects will be corrected

we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

important: reap is a tracking tool only. we do not provide financial advice. you are responsible for verifying all information and making your own financial decisions. we are not responsible for any financial losses or missed benefits.

9. account termination

we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for:

• violation of these terms
• fraudulent or illegal activity
• non-payment of fees
• abuse of the service or support team

upon termination, your access to the service will cease, and your data may be deleted after a reasonable retention period. you may request a copy of your data before termination.

10. changes to terms

we may modify these terms at any time. we will notify you of material changes via email or through the service. your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. governing law

these terms are governed by the laws of the united states, without regard to conflict of law principles. any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

13. severability
